Jenn Thom-Santelli

I am a PhD student in Communication and Information Science, studying how mobile technologies can affect how people experience public space. Specifically, I am interested in how territoriality can be expressed through the appropriation of systems that allow for personalization, control or intrusion. I've also studied bluejacking, online deception and critically analyzed mobile social software and its representation of the urban environment.
