I'm currently a PhD student at the University College Dublin (National University of Ireland), starting a PhD in Computer Science. My major interest is wearable technology, a highly inter-disciplinary and largely undefined field. At Cornell, I did my Bachelor's degree in Textiles and Apparel, focusing on functional (protective) clothing design. My Honors thesis, which involved developing a smart winter jacket, is available here. I stayed for a Master's in Apparel Design, focusing on wearable technology and intelligent clothing. My Master's thesis examined the role of the designer in the development of wearable technology, and the interface between the human and the device. (Thesis available here.) Other projects and more information can be found here.
