Nick Knouf
Personal Website: http://zeitkunst.orgI am a first-year PhD student in Information Sciences working in the spaces around technological development, science and technology studies, new media art, and cultural studies + critical theory. In another words, I am a mongrel of sorts. My background is in cognitive neuroscience with a BS from Caltech. I just finished a master's degree from the MIT Media Lab with a thesis that involved a robotic marionette and non-speech vocal sounds.
I'm also quite interested in puppetry and robotics, avant-garde + contemporary + experimental + electronic music, bookbinding and typography, and experimental literature.
